LOOKING INTENTLY : A PHOTOGRAPHER'S GALLERY

My family had a red stool in our house until about five years ago. It had been in the family’s dressing room, exposing the inner sponge at a tear on its cushioned seat. When I was a child, the stool was used when photographs were taken in the photo studio that my family ran. Many stools have been broken and replaced since then, but this particular one was solidly made. Apart from its appearance, the stool looked still usable. From this trivial observation, I think, I began to feel that the thing in the past contained in it the creator’s wish to provide a good product.
